The Rockwell Collins CitationJet Full Flight Simulator (FFS) for CAE SimuFlite Training in Dallas/Ft Worth Airport, Texas was qualified by the FAA on August 22, 2002. This device was the third of five delivered to CAE SimuFlite. The Simulation Host software operates under real-time LINUX on a Pentium COTS processor. The Instructor Operator Station software operates under Windows NT 4.0. The visual system for the CitationJet FFS is an Evans and Sutherland 3350GT/SEOS display system. The digital 6-axis motion system is the Thales MK2 and the control loading is a Fokker Digital Electric system.
