On October 25, 2001, a Rockwell Collins Beechjet 400A Full Flight Simulator (FFS) achieved FAA Level D Qualification at the
CAE SimuFlite Training Facility in Dallas/Ft Worth Airport, Texas. This device was the first of five to be ultimately delivered
to SimuFlite. The Simulation Host software operates under real-time LINUX on a Pentium COTS processor. The visual system for
the Beechjet 400A FFS is an Evans and Sutherland 3350GT/SEOS display system. The digital 6-axis motion system is the Thales
MK2 and the control loading is Fokker Digital Electric.
