Demonstrating the ability to be easily adapted to a broad spectrum of rotary wing aircraft without compromising mission requirements, Rockwell Collins' CAAS system will provide a fully integrated flight and mission avionics management system for the U.S. Army's new ARH-70A Scout/Reconnaissance helicopter. The ARH-70A CAAS system offers fully integrated communications and navigation systems management, along with displays of primary flight information and engine and power train instrumentation. Mission sensor, weapons and digital communications integration with CAAS allows the ARH crew to effectively perform highly complex missions while maintaining complete situational awareness. The ARH-70A CAAS system features the re-use of previously developed software, enabling Rockwell Collins to deliver a flight-ready system to our customers on time.
