For decades, Rockwell Collins has proudly supplied radio communications to military users worldwide. Our Very High Frequency/Ultra High Frequency (V/UHF) products span the military communications band from 225 MHz to 400 MHz. We offer a wide variety of capabilities operating within the V/UHF band including the ARC-210 and Talon Radios.

AN/ARC- 210
In both design and performance, the Rockwell Collins AN/ARC- 210 meets the heightened requirements for effective, reliable, secure communications in both the tactical and air traffic control environment. The AN/ARC- 210 provides two-way multi-mode voice and data communications over a 30-512 MHz frequency range. The system is software reprogrammable and compatible with all Joint Tactical Radio Systems (JTRS) waveforms.

The system includes embedded Ultra High Frequency (UHF) and Very High Frequency (VHF) anti-jam electronic protection waveforms, single-channel ground and airborne radio systems (SINCGARS), quick communications security (COMSEC), satellite communications (SATCOM) and other data link and secure communications features. These characteristics provide the user with total tactical battlefield interoperability in both single channel and electronic protection modes. With a digital transceiver, the Rockwell Collins AN/ARC-210 provides high-performance capabilities in the transfer of data, voice and imagery. Its compact size allows for easy installation in a wide variety of platforms across the U.S. services and international militaries.

Rockwell Collins has more than 22,000 AN/ARC- 210 radios fielded worldwide on over 180 platforms, making it an accepted standard for multi-band, multi-mode radios. It is the primary communication system for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force, and is also fielded on U.S. Army and Marine Corps platforms.

TALON
The Rockwell Collins Talon Radio combines digital radio technology and software reprogrammability for outstanding performance, capability and flexibility. Based on a software defined design, the Talon Radio allows users to upgrade V/UHF capabilities via software reload, thus accommodating future growth. Talon provides multi-mode voice and data communications in normal, secure or jam-resistant modes over the V/UHF (30 - 400 MHz) range.

The Rockwell Collins Talon Radio is designed to allow the incorporation of non-Rockwell Collins waveforms to support customer requirements. The Talon Radio offers Have Quick I/II, SINCGARS, SATURN and TALON software waveforms. Currently the Rockwell Collins Talon Radio is used in 20 countries and on approximately 60 different aircraft platforms and ground stations.
