Rockwell Collins appoints new Vice President and General Manager

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (August 20, 2007) - Ken Estelle, a 28-year veteran of the aerospace and defense industry, has been named vice president and general manager of Technical Service Solutions.

In his new role, Estelle is responsible for Rockwell Collins' global service and support operations with a network of service centers providing repair and overhaul of aviation electronics, as well as parts management and logistics for commercial, business and military aircraft worldwide.  

Estelle was most recently a vice president of Global Customer Management with Smiths Aerospace (now GE Aviation) in Grand Rapids, Mich.

A native of Grand Rapids, Mich., Estelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Western International University.
