Rockwell Collins announces executive appointments in Government Systems

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (April 26, 2007) - Rockwell Collins recently appointed Walter "Woody" Hogle to vice president, Government Operations. Hogle succeeds Michael K. McDonald, who retired in January.

Phil Jasper has been appointed to succeed Hogle as vice president and general manager of Integrated Systems for Rockwell Collins.

Hogle's responsibilities include the development and implementation of governmental, regulatory, legislative liaison and industry affairs strategies; directing public policy in support of the company's domestic and international business; maintaining close working relations with government officials and regulatory agencies; and developing strategies to address changes in government regulations. He has three years of service with Rockwell Collins and a distinguished military career in the U.S. Air Force where he last served as a Lieutenant General and Commander, 15th Air Force. Hogle has a Master of Science degree from Troy State University.

Jasper succeeds Hogle after serving as senior director of Air Force Programs for Rockwell Collins. His key responsibilities will be to provide the strategic direction of the Integrated Systems organization and align the resources to meet all customer commitments. Jasper has 15 years of service with the company and has a Master of Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Business Administration from Iowa State University.
