Rockwell Collins introduces new electronic intelligence tool

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (February 21, 2007) - Rockwell Collins has unveiled a new Signal Analysis Tool/Graphical User Interface (SAT/GUI) for use with electronic intelligence (ELINT) systems that gather intelligence through the use of electronic sensors.

"This new device will greatly simplify the ELINT operator's tasks and enable them to carry out their missions in less time and with less effort," explained Bruce King, vice president and general manager of Communications Systems for Rockwell Collins.

The new software features a modern, highly customizable and flexible user interface. The interface is tailored to the customer's needs by allowing the database windows to be repositioned and resized during runtime. Window arrangements can be saved and quickly recalled for use. It will be produced at the company's facility in Richardson, Texas.

Manual and automatic modes of operation are supported by the SAT/GUI. Manual operation provides precision collection, statistical analysis, visualization and identification. Automatic operation provides for situational awareness through automated collection and identification.
