Rockwell Collins names Statler to new post

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (October 03, 2005) - Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) has appointed Kent L. Statler as senior vice president and general manager of Collins Aviation Services.  He replaces Harry Gregory, who has announced his intention to retire effective November 4, 2005.

In his new role, Statler is responsible for overseeing Rockwell Collins' global services business, including Maintenance Operations, Material Operations, Aftermarket Operations and Simulation and Training Solutions.  He continues to serve as a corporate officer.

An 18-year employee, Statler has served as senior vice president of Operations, a position he was appointed to in 2003.  Previously, he held positions of increasing responsibility including vice president of Maintenance Operations for Collins Aviation Services and vice president of Lean Electronics.
