CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (August 25, 2005) - Rockwell Collins Airshow 4200 achieves Boeing technical offerability

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (August 25, 2005) - Rockwell Collins Airshow 4200 moving map system has received a technical offerability recommendation from Boeing, and can be offered on all models of the Boeing 737, 747, 767 and 777 aircraft.  Deliveries of Airshow 4200 equipped aircraft will begin in October 2005.

Rockwell Collins Airshow 4200 system, introduced in September 2004, offers 3-D broadcast overhead or in-seat moving map and flight information systems for airlines. The full-featured multimedia platform, incorporates a wide variety of capabilities, including 3-D route maps, real-time news feeds, connecting gate information, and points-of-interest media libraries. The system captures real-time flight information from the aircraft's flight management computer, long-range navigation system, and aircraft communication systems.  The Airshow 4200 system seamlessly integrates with the leading in-flight entertainment systems to provide content that is highly customizable and tailored to meet the needs of each airline customer.
