Rockwell Collins Expands Cabin Electronics Product Line with Completion of Airshow, Inc. Acquisition
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (August 12, 2002) - Rockwell Collins, Inc. (NYSE:COL), a global leader in aviation electronics and communications, has expanded its cabin electronics
product offering by completing the acquisition of Airshow, Inc. By combining the product and systems capabilities of the companies,
Rockwell Collins offers a complete line of aircraft electronics to meet aircraft requirements and passenger needs.

Airshow provides a comprehensive, integrated suite of cabin electronics systems for business and commercial aircraft, including
cabin environmental controls, passenger information and entertainment, business support systems, network capabilities and
passenger flight information systems. Airshow's product lines will be integrated with Rockwell Collins' existing portfolio
and service infrastructure.
Rockwell Collins announced its intent to acquire Airshow in June 2002. Airshow is Rockwell Collins' second acquisition this
year and the eighth in the past five years. It delivers on the company's goal to supplement internal growth through acquisitions
that complement and enhance Rockwell Collins' core aviation electronics and communications capabilities.
Airshow, headquartered in Tustin, Calif., employs approximately 330 employees at facilities in Tustin; Kirkland, Wash.; Wichita,
Kan.; Newark, Del.; and Toulouse, France.
