Rockwell Collins names Hogle senior vice president of International Business and Washington Operations
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (February 13, 2008) - Walter "Woody" S. Hogle Jr. has been named senior vice president, International Business and Washington Operations, for Rockwell
Collins. Hogle reports to Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Clay Jones.
"As Rockwell Collins continues to expand as an integrated global enterprise, it became increasingly clear that there were
several opportunities to improve the way we are organized and operate in the international marketplace," said Jones. "I feel
that Woody Hogle's experience and ability will serve him well in overseeing a single international business organization that
includes all Rockwell Collins enterprise activities."
In this newly created role, Hogle's responsibilities include leading Rockwell Collins' international team in developing and
achieving strategic and tactical business objectives; developing and implementing governmental, regulatory, legislative and
industrial affairs strategies; and maintaining close working relationships with Congressional members and staff and other
federal government officials.
Previously, Hogle served as vice president and general manager of Integrated Systems for Rockwell Collins Government Systems.
In this position, he was responsible for program execution, global business development and market strategy for Rockwell Collins'
integrated aircraft and ground vehicle systems. He was named to the position in January 2004.
Before joining Rockwell Collins, Hogle was senior vice president, Air Force and FAA Services, ACS Defense, Inc. He was responsible
for engineering, information technology and staff support services for numerous clients in the Department of Defense, the
military services, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
Prior to joining ACS, Hogle was vice president of Operations, L3 Communications Integrated Systems in Greenville, Texas. In
this position, he was responsible for supply chain management, manufacturing, and facilities.
