Rockwell Collins to provide image generator for AVCATT program
ATLANTA (May 09, 2007) - Rockwell Collins has been selected to provide the EPXTM-50 image generator as part of a visual systems upgrade for the Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (AVCATT) program.
L-3 Communications Link Simulation and Training, prime contractor on the AVCATT program, will serve as lead systems integrator
for the upgrade effort.
Rockwell Collins' EPX-50 image generator provides realistic scene fidelity, image quality and high performance using commercial-off-the-shelf
(COTS) computing technology.

AVCATT is a mobile, transportable, virtual simulation training system designed to provide Army aviation the capability to

system allows pilots to train and rehearse through networked simulation in a collective and combined arms simulated battlefield
environment.
