Rockwell Collins Provides Key Elements of Avionics Architecture to Boeing for U.S. Air Force C-130 Avionics Modernization

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (September 19, 2001) - Rockwell Collins has been selected to provide key avionics systems to The Boeing Company as part of the U.S. Air Force C-130
Avionics Modernization Program. The company will supply systems valued at more than $400US million for approximately 500 USAF
C-130 aircraft.
Rockwell Collins products will further augment and enhance the aircraft operational capabilities, providing the interactivity
required for the future Global Air Traffic Management environment. Avionics systems selected for the program include Rockwell
Collins Flight Dynamics Head-up Guidance System, Collins Flight2 6 x 8-inch Multi-Function Displays and AN/ARC-210 radios.
Additional avionics include SAT-2000, multimode receivers, automatic direction finder and high frequency data link upgrades.
