Rockwell Collins to Provide Dispatch PlusSM Services to Hawaiian Airlines
NEW ORLEANS (December 11, 2001) - Rockwell Collins Aviation Services (CAS) has signed a Dispatch Plus
SM
contract with Honolulu-based Hawaiian Airlines. The contract provides service and support for Collins avionics on the fleet
of 16 Boeing 767 aircraft now being delivered to the airline. Under the ten-year agreement, Collins Aviation Services will
provide spares ownership, maintenance repair, and technical support on a fixed price per flight hour basis.
Through the Dispatch Plus program, Collins Aviation Services will provide Hawaiian Airlines with spare avionics units at multiple
locations. The Dispatch Plus program provides ongoing component reliability improvements, a single point of contact, and one
monthly invoice.
Collins Aviation Services' global network of more than 50 locations provides repair and overhaul of avionics equipment for
commercial, business and military operators. CAS capabilities include on-board services, service parts, training services,
technical information services, and technical services.
