Rockwell Collins to provide automated data management system to Delta Air Lines

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (September 23, 2003) - Rockwell Collins, in partnership with Innovative Media Solutions, has announced it will provide Delta Air Lines with eOffload - an Internet-based service that manages in-flight entertainment (IFE) usage and information.

Delta becomes the first major U.S. carrier to use eOffload, which provides on-demand access to, and analysis of, passenger IFE usage and system information. The eOffload capability is supported by Rockwell Collins' enCompass in-flight entertainment service.

The service gathers and displays data on passenger use of broadcast and on-demand audio and video. Game usage and passenger survey data is also managed. IFE system data such as flight data uploads and seat resets are recorded and displayed as well.
