Kent L. Statler is executive vice president of Services for Rockwell Collins. Additionally, he is a corporate officer. Statler is responsible for a global network of Rockwell Collins service centers providing repair and overhaul of aviation electronics for commercial, business and military aircraft worldwide. He leads customer service functions including onboard maintenance of in-flight entertainment systems and avionics parts management that enable total customer service solutions. Additionally, he leads the simulation and training business for Rockwell Collins, including the design and manufacturing of full flight simulators and all aspects of technical data and training.  He was named to the position in October 2005.

Previously, Statler served as senior vice president of Operations, a position he was appointed to in January 2003. Statler has served in numerous leadership roles throughout his career at Rockwell Collins, including vice president of Manufacturing Operations, vice president of Lean Electronics, and vice president of Maintenance Operations for Rockwell Collins Services. Under his leadership, Maintenance Operations was recognized as a company Lean Electronics leader. Statler joined Rockwell Collins in 1987 and has held positions of increasing responsibility.

A native of Waverly, Iowa, Statler earned his bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Management and Economics from the University of Northern Iowa. He earned his master of business administration degree from the University of Iowa.

Statler is a member of the Lean Aerospace Initiative Executive Committee, a Trustee for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and is a youth advisor at the Hillside Wesleyan Church.
